As a creative professional and educator, I believe the world is made tolerable by the work of creative people and organizations. I have presented at conferences and facilitated workshops on subjects including LGBTQ+ representation in writing, professional development for creatives, the intersection between media, technology and mental health, as well as on the ethical and creative use of generative AI.

I have a lot of creative interests including karaoke, fine tequilas, baking, writing dystopian and science fiction books, creating narrative and educational board games, and graphic design. I am direct, funny and I do cuss quite a bit. I've lived a lot of different lives, from full-timing in a travel trailer to homesteading in Montana to living in the city! I've finally made my home in Stone Mountain, Georgia and I live here with my partner, four hairless cats, and potato head dog.
