As a creative professional and educator, I believe the world is made tolerable by the work of creative people and organizations. I have presented at conferences and facilitated workshops on subjects including LGBTQ+ representation in writing, professional development for creatives, the intersection between media, technology and mental health, as well as on the ethical and creative use of generative AI. In 2019, I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin's University and in 2010 I completed my Bachelor of Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College. I have worked in the field of mental health and education for over a decade.

I am the author of Of Flesh and Feathers (2020) and Trans Liberty Riot Brigade (Ninestar Press, 2017), which won an Honorable Mention in the 2017 Rainbow Awards.
